Aubrey Peeples

Aubrey Peeples is an American actress and singer. Her best-recognition was for her performance in Nashville, the 2012 drama, as Layla Grant. She also won the award in Sharknado 2013, where she portrayed Claudia Shepard. She played the leading role Jerrica Jem benton in the 2015 film Jem and the Holograms. Aubrey Peeples was raised in Lake Mary in Florida with her mother and father Wendy Ashley and Wendy Ashley. She has a sister who is named Ally. Aubrey performed for 10 seasons in Orlando Repertory Theatre. Her graduation ceremony from Lake Mary Preparatory School was the class's valedictory speech in 2012. Harvard University had accepted her. However, they agreed to her admission two times in order to allow her to take on the role in Nashville. Peeples guest-starred in Drop Dead Diva (2009) Burn Notice (2007) Austin & Ally (2011) Grey's Anatomy (2005) and also had regular roles in Necessary Roughness (1991). The actress appeared on TV on Ace Ventura Jr. Pet Detective 2009 as well as The Good Mother. She played a prominent role for the Nashville series, in which she played Layla Grant. In the year 2019 Peeples admitted to having bipolar disorder in an interview in NKD Magazine. Indiewire named Peeples among the top actors under the age of twenty in September 2014.
